One of the Tantras recorded that Wrathful Padmasambhava is a powerful and particular Buddha with immeasurable wisdom and compassion, who is the embodiment of Amitabha Buddha, Avalokiteshvara and Padmasambhava,and has supreme power for subduing all evil spirits and sentient beings's obstinate vexation and bad habits. In Tibet it is said that there are Six Methods for Liberation without Meditation including on seeing sacred objects. It is believed that whoever sees this statue with pure faith in mind, and offers prostration respectfully to it, is bound to purify his several lifetime of negative karma.According to the record in
Autobiography of Padmasambhava, whoever makes the statue, encourages others to make, participates in making and even sincerely joys in other's act of making the statue, will obtain immeasurable benefits, and be protected by Darkinis and guardians of Buddhism, meet true spiritual masters, avoid interference of fiends, pacify all obstructions, be happy, healthy and wealthy in this life. And in the Bardo he is bound to be far away from fear and completely free from sinking into the three lower realms (hell beings, hungry ghosts and animals).
Padmasambhava had remarked, if one invokes with devotion in front of my statue one is sure to fulfill all wishes worldly and beyond-worldly. Moreover, enshrining this statue will benefit world peace, and avoid various unspeakable misfortunes such as war, famine, pestilence, as well as the destructions caused by earthquakes, floods, storm and fire. Making such a statue of Wrathful Padmasambhava with so supreme blessings is the common aspiration of many great masters and saints. This project is proposed and will be supervised by Tulku Kenzon Trinely Trieje Gyamtse Rinpoche who has an especially strong karmic connection with Wrathful Padmasambhava. Padmasambhava had made a prophecy about him in one of the Tantra: Wara Darma Benza who will appear in the northeast is my activity emanation. Rinpoche has achieved great uncommon realization. Therefore, the masters and saints repeatedly request him to take charge of this project.
Strictly in light of traditional rituals, the
13-meter-high bronze statue of Wrathful Padmasambhava
will be made with the classy material and technology.
The cost of making the statue is about RMB10,000,000 or
USD$1,200,000 (including the cost of building a hall to
protect the statue). This project is arranged by The
Auspicious Sakya Wara Five Brightness Buddhism College,
Wara Monastery and Dechen Monastery.

resulting from this virtuous action he is bound to
satisfactorily complete various causes beneficial to
himself and all others, worldly and beyond-worldly. No
